The Monday, December 3rd meeting of the Macon-Bibb County Design Review Board will be held in the MBPZ Conference Room beginning at 4:00 p.m.

11-5-18 Minutes were approved. 

00323, 00315, 00327 Third Street/00502 Mulberry Street: | Certificate of Appropriateness | to allow design approval of signage, CBD-1 District. | Dozier Law Firm, applicant  | At the Monday, December 3, 2018 Design Review Board (DRB) meeting the DRB took no action because no one was present to represent the application. The application has been placed on the January 7, 2019 DRB agenda by staff. 

00555 First Street
: | Certificate of Appropriateness | to allow design approval of exterior modifications of an existing structure | Widner & Associates,  applicant |found the proposal appropriate with following changes: windows will be 6/9 instead of 9/9; the front door will have a rectangle lite instead of an oval; any shutters must be wood and painted, not stained; rear door shall be fixed in place instead of infilling the opening with brick. A landscape plan shall be provided to staff for the foundation plantings.  The vote was unanimous with the four (4) DRB members present.

00598 Third Street: | Certificate of Appropriateness | to allow design approval of exterior modifications, CBD-1 District. | Sidney Haynes, applicant |found the proposal appropriate as submitted.  The vote was unanimous by the four (4) DRB members present. 
 
00941 Ash Street: | Certificate of Appropriateness | to allow design approval of exterior modifications | HPD-BH District, applicant |At the Monday, December 3, 2018 Design Review Board (DRB) meeting the DRB found the proposal as presented. The vote was unanimous by the four (4) DRB members present.

01019 Bond Street: | Certificate of Appropriateness | to allow design approval of front porch expansion, HR-2 District. | Sheridan Construction, applicant |found the proposal appropriate; however, the architectural elements /details/ design of the porch roof shall remain as it currently exists. DRB member Will Stanford recommended installing a roof cricket to aid in the stormwater issues noted by the applicants. The vote was unanimous by the four (4) DRB members present.

01064 Columbus Street: | Certificate of Appropriateness | to allow design approval for a new structure, HR-2 District. | Sheridan Construction, applicant | At the Monday, December 3, 2018 Design Review Board (DRB) meeting the DRB found the proposal appropriate as submitted. The vote was unanimous by the four (4) DRB members present. 

01076 Maple Street
: | Certificate of Appropriateness | to allow design approval of exterior modifications | HPD-BH District applicant | At the Monday, December 3, 2018 Design Review Board (DRB) meeting the DRB did not take any action because staff moved this item directly to the Commission for ratification since it is the same proposal approved in 2017.

01320 Jackson Street: | Certificate of Appropriateness | to allow design approval for exterior modifications | Historic Macon Foundation, applicant |At the Monday, December 3, 2018 Design Review Board (DRB) meeting the DRB found the proposal appropriate as submitted.  The vote was unanimous by the four (4) DRB members present.
