The Georgia Department of Transportation is replacing the College Street bridge over Norfolk Southern Railroad and partially replacing the Pio Nono Ave [at Roff Ave] bridge over Norfolk Southern Railroad.

[su_quote][The Project] proposes to increase the vertical clearance of the bridge by increasing the height of the existing piers and replacing the superstructure on SR 247/Pio Nono Ave over Norfolk Southern Railroad. Project length is 600 feet along Pio Nono and approximately 350 feet of Roff Avenue will be reconstructed. One 30-day closure of Pio Nono will be required. Roff Avenue will be closed on both sides of Pio Nono for no more than 2 months. [/su_quote]
