The Monday June 3, 2019 meeting of the Macon-Bibb County Design Review Board was held in the MBPZ Conference Room, Terminal Station began at 4:00 p.m. Here are the meeting results.


00191 Hines Terr | Violation | Violation of Section 27A.06 [1] of the Comprehensive Land Development Resolution of modifications to the facade without Certificate of Appropriations, HR-1 District. | Alexander Mims

Corrective actions required:

1) columns, porch rail, spindles, gate, and shutters shall be painted and not stained
2) meta spindles on porch  and gate shall be replaced with square wood spindles
3) gate shall remain opened inward except when dogs are on porch or packages are expected
4) trim on columns shall match that of the 2016 Tax Assessor’s photo

DRB determined that the walkway and shrubbery is appropriate 4:0, one absent

00291 Buford PL | Certificate of Appropriateness | to allow design approval to replace an fence, HR-1 District.  Michael Canipe, applicant | 

Appropriate as follows:

1) Fence shall not exceed 6FT in height but some areas may be slightly taller due to topography
2) Installing landscaping inside of the fence for additional privacy is appropriate
3) staining the fence is appropriate
